Ah, the quiet…
The reason Zach’s not in the picture with the other kids is that now as a middle schooler, he’s up and out the door about a half an hour before the elementary school kids. Which means I’m up and out of bed a half an hour before usual…
And as if today being the “First Day of School” for the kids wasn’t mountmentus enough, I go to register for classes at my university today (and buy books & a parking pass and go on a tour and feel really old…) I’m not sure which I should be more freaked out about. At least the quiet while I decide is a nice bonus.
