About
Katie Fleck has been writing and abusing parathesis on the internet since 2003 (Archives). Currently she’s in a RN BSN nursing program (basically a highly educated nurse, graduates May 2013), owns a small sewing business (so small, it’s 1 person and in her bedroom), works as a student nurse on the night shift, and runs after 5 children (see below). In her spare time, she knits, sleeps, and folds laundry.
A little background: grew up in small town Indiana, oldest of 5, daughter of a librarian and engineer, graduated salutatorian of her high school class (a pretty worthless honor expect for learning how to spell salutatorian), did 3 years of bio/chem at Xavier University (Cincinnati OH), had a kid, got married, had 4 more kids (all within 5 years), moved to Maryland (2005-2008), started knitting and created Katie Fleck Designs, moved back to Indiana, divorced, and has continued to wing this thing called Life ever since….

Love, Dad: my Dad… Frequent commenter and I lovingly blame my sarcasm and stubbornness on him. ;)
auntie 502: my aunt and godmother, another frequent commenter who I don’t see often enough in person (sorry!)
